Hi, I'm Jack and I am a physio working in persistent pain rehabilitation in Melbourne. Pain can be a complex and scary experience, yet a vital protective response essential for survival. My passion is for helping people understand the nature and purpose of pain, hopefully teaching them to think a little differently, move a bit more confidently, and feel a lot better.
The Pain Revolution 2018 is an epic ride in which 25 (or so) like-minded clinicians and researchers from all over the country will ride from Sydney to Albury-Wodonga. Yes it will hurt, and there are some big climbs that will make us suffer, but it's nothing compared to what people in persistent pain put up with every day.
The ride aims to raise money to share the message of hope and education about pain, while setting up a network of local pain educators in the places they are needed most.
So please, if you're interested in helping spread messages of hope and promise about persistent pain to the people in rural and regional Australia, contribute to my page.
